Daily Events: New Year’s Eve 2008

December 31, 2008 at 7:11 AM (Daily Events, New Years Eve, Wednesday) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

It’s finally here folks, the biggest party night of the year. Roanoke is jam packed with options, live music, deejays, bar specials, champagne toasts, and the list goes on and on. There’s something for everybody, every taste, and every budget.

Be sure to take lots of pictures while you’re out tonight, we want our Photo Galleries overflowing with pictures from NYE 2008. We have a convenient form on our website to Submit Your Photos or you can simply email them to us.

Below is your New Year’s Eve 2008 Lineup. If you’d rather see all of the information in one place, check out our New Year’s Eve Guide on the website.

We’re going to say it one more time, don’t drink and drive. I’ve listed the numbers to local cab companies below, save them in your phone and use them. Yellow Cab (and I assume other companies) will have cabs circling downtown looking for customers. If you would like to schedule a pickup they have asked that you call an hour in advance.

Yellow Cab
540-345-7711

Liberty Cab
540-344-1776

Quality Cab
540-265-0467

With so much going on, we’re bound to have missed something. That’s why we have the comments section. If you do have updates/additions just let us know below. Enjoy your New Years Eve, and have a safe and prosperous 2009. Cheers!

Daily Events: Thursday, Christmas Day, 2008

December 25, 2008 at 8:13 AM (Daily Events, Thursday) (, , , , , , , , , , , )

Firstly, RoanokeNights.com wants to wish everyone a merry Christmas along with a happy and healthy New Year. Secondly, we’re back to our normal daily posting schedule after a week off, thanks to a Caribbean vacation! Thirdly, it’s Christmas day and if you’re itching to get out of the house tonight, you have plenty of options. One word of caution, I would suggest calling ahead to the karaoke and deejay events to make sure the bar/club is open tonight. Many of these events occur every Thursday, but if the establishment isn’t open tonight, obviously the event won’t be going on. Here’s your Christmas lineup:

If you have any updates, additions, cancellations, etc please leave a comment and let us know. Merry Christmas everybody!
